Hirofumi Yamamoto
Hirofumi “Hiro” Yamamoto is the Chief Executive Officer for The Delta Companies.
Since joining The Delta Companies in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer, Hiro has been an integral part of the company's success. He brings a wealth of experience in leading financial operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of our company's strategy. In August of 2023, Hiro was named Chief Executive Officer of The Delta Companies.
Hiro began his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant for KPMG Japan. He worked for more than 8 years at this Big 4 accounting firm, where he performed financial advisory services and led a financial audit for several commercial banks.
Prior to joining TDC, Hiro served as the Deputy General Manager at Mitsui & Co. since 2015. His experience includes serving as Controller and FP&A for Mitsui, delivering financial reporting, business portfolio management, planning and budget controlling, risk management, and merger and acquisition execution.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan, and then his Master of Business Administration from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
Hiro moved to Dallas with his wife and two kids in 2021, where they are enjoying their Texas life. He is a world traveler—touring more than 50 countries—and loves photography. He is planning to restart fly fishing, which he had a keen passion for during his college days, in his spare time.
