Jun Usami is Chairman of the Board of The Delta Companies. He has been engaged in the staffing business since the late 2000s and previously served as a Board Director and Chief Strategy Officer of The Delta Companies.

Jun has more than 25 years of experience with Mitsui & Co., Ltd., a Japanese conglomerate, where he has held a variety of leadership positions across its human capital, wellness, and corporate planning divisions. His past roles include Deputy General Manager of the Employee Experience Division, General Manager of the Business Development Department in the Wellness Solution Business Division, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Planning and Strategy Department, and General Manager of the Human Capital Business Department. He also served at Mitsui & Co., Principal Investments Ltd., a wholly owned private equity subsidiary of Mitsui, where he developed extensive expertise in strategic investment, business development, and portfolio management.

Jun received a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University and completed the Transition to General Management program, Executive Education at INSEAD.

 Jun started playing ice hockey when he was a child. He tried to get his two sons into ice hockey, but both chose soccer instead. He has been enjoying road biking and is also considering getting back into ice hockey in Dallas.
