Steve Korinek is the Senior Vice President of Delta Locums Tenens. A seasoned leader in healthcare staffing with more than 20 years of industry experience, Steve brings a deep understanding of workforce solutions across Direct Hire, Locum Tenens, Travel Nursing/Allied, and MSP/VMS models. A graduate of Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Steve has built a career defined by growth, leadership, and a passion for improving healthcare access.

Steve began his career at a large healthcare staffing firm, quickly distinguishing himself through strong performance and leadership, ultimately advancing to the role of Vice President. During this time, he developed a strong interest in healthcare and recognized the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Prior to joining The Delta Companies in 2026, Steve served as the Senior Vice President of Sales, Recruiting, and Operations for an executive recruiting firm with both national and international reach. In this role, he led high-performing teams while driving strategic growth and operational excellence.

What continues to fuel Steve’s career is a deep appreciation for the ever-evolving nature of healthcare. He is driven by the constant challenge to learn, adapt, and develop innovative workforce solutions that meet the changing needs of healthcare organizations. This commitment is rooted in personal experience, having grown up in a Midwest town with limited access to healthcare, he understands firsthand the critical importance of connecting providers, facilities, and patients.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife of 28 years, their three children and two rescue dogs that keep life interesting. The family enjoys exploring new cuisines, taking full advantage of Dallas’s diverse food scene. A Wisconsin native, he remains a loyal Green Bay Packers fan, even after years in Texas.
