Takashi Kimiwada
Takashi “Tak” Kimiwada is Chairman of the Board of The Delta Companies. He has been engaged in staffing businesses since 2000, and he also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Accountable Healthcare Staffing, one of the leading healthcare staffing and workforce solution companies.
Tak played a vital role in the company’s success as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at The Delta Companies between December 2020 and August 2023. He passed on the CEO role to Hirofumi “Hiro” Yamamoto and is now focusing on his role as the Chairman of the Board of TDC.
His past experiences include various managerial roles at Mitsui & Co. Ltd, a Japanese conglomerate, across regions in U.S., Latin America, U.K., Japan, and Asian countries, COO of Mitsui & Co.’s subsidiary staffing company in Japan, Interim CFO of a joint venture in Indonesia, and General Manager in charge of strategic investment at Mitsui & Co.’s regional Headquarters in New York. He has been engaged in over 20 transactions of mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. Tak led the transaction when Mitsui & Co. acquired The Delta Companies in 2014 and Accountable Healthcare Staffing in 2017. He has served as a Board Member of four companies in the healthcare, staffing, and education sectors.
He received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Economics from The University of Tokyo.
Tak lives with his wife, son, and daughter. He is a keen traveler and has visited over 40 countries—he even made an around-the-world backpacking trip in 1997. He loves snowboarding, swimming, jogging, playing drums, and reading books.
