How soon will my benefits go into effect?
We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition as you join our team, including timely access to your benefits. Your benefits coverage will become effective on the first day of the month following your start date. As an example, if you start your assignment on 4/13, your benefits effective date is 5/1. Your benefits coverage will remain active through the last day of the month in which your assignment ends. This can provide you with extended access to your health plan, offering a valuable cushion that can give you continued peace of mind as you transition out of your role or explore your next opportunity with us.

Our Reward Day program is a unique paid time off benefit created to recognize and celebrate our employees’ hard work, dedication, and commitment over time. Where do I stay while on assignment?
Delta Healthcare Providers offers flexible housing options to meet your needs. You may choose Delta housing or be paid a stipend to use towards housing. If you choose Delta-provided housing, our travel team will arrange an extended-stay property for the duration of your assignment. You may check in up to two days before your start date and remain up to two days after it ends, giving you ample time to transition out of the area after your assignment. Alternatively, if you prefer to arrange your own accommodation, you may be eligible to receive a tax-free housing stipend. Your recruiter will work with our Human Resources team to confirm that you meet all Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requirements for stipend eligibility, giving you the flexibility to choose the lodging that works best for you.
-
I would like to bring my pet with me on assignment, is this allowed?
We understand that pets are family, and we encourage you to bring them along. If you opt to stay in Delta-provided housing and the property requires a pet deposit or monthly pet rent, Delta will cover these costs upfront and deduct the total amount over your first three paychecks. Please note that some properties may have breed or weight restrictions, which will be confirmed in advance. If you opt to arrange your own accommodations, you’ll need to coordinate directly with your chosen property regarding any pet-related policies and fees.
-
What if I encounter issues with my housing?
Your comfort and support are our priority. If you experience any issues, your dedicated recruiter is just a call away to help resolve them quickly. For after-hours emergencies, our 24/7 support line ensures that a Delta representative is always available to assist you.
